This is a beautiful book with embossed leather hard cover book. A composite of 100 stores by 100 great writers from around the world.
Stores from France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Rome, Russia, USA, Japan, Denmark, Holland, Norway, Spain, & Ancient Egypt.
Edgar Allen Poe, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Longfellow and many many more elite writers.
Book is beautiful but has signs of wear. Inside of the cover the pages are yellowed and stained from time. Some of the pages have a few little age spots on various pages which also indicative of age.
On the bottom left corner embossed are the words; ‘knowledge is the hallmark of breeding’ ; along with ‘the world’s best fiction pronounced so by authorities’.
No publishing date is listed but most of the writers deceased in mid to late 1800’s.
