• An anti-scale water filter that protects your pipes and household appliance from scale, corrosion, and more: The patented scale Inhibitor effectively sequesters calcium and magnesium. It also inhibits corrosion, particularly iron, steel, galvanized, copper, and lead, by coating the surface of your pipes. It also helps to stabilize chlorine as the chlorine will not react with the metal pipe if the coating exists. This water filter has a capacity of 250,000 gallons of water filtration.

• Please note - Unlike an RO system, this whole house water filtration system will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and instead keeps healthy minerals in your water; if you are interested in a filter that removes TDS, please consider our iSpring Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. The polyphosphate filter does not remove calcium and magnesium from water - it only prevents those molecules from forming scale.
